Dilly Dally Doodle

I often bring a few pieces of paper with me while I have to sit and wait at places. My daughter is in a public charter school which is really great, she doesn't have the peer pressure to deal with. Anyways, I have to drive pretty far to get her to her testing and our meetings with the facilitator. So I usually work on my novel, or doodle random stuff while I wait in my car for her testing to be finished.

My latest doodle was nothing really great, just a random sketch I did of a iron scrollwork thingamabob thingy as I am fascinated with old iron gates. When I came home, I decided to lineart it and then decided I wanted a silhouette instead cause you can make many more things with it as a silhouette than as a more detailed lineart. I try to squeeze out as many variations and things as I can out of even one simple little doodle. Here is what I have come up with so far.

The original doodle is shown here on this mousepad

So far I have come up with 3 variations

More variations and colors coming soon

One design, many options, many products

This is what I call recycling. One photo of what was a rusted, broken glass, abandoned crypt door with a Celtic cross inside a heart that I put on many items and in different variations. The original photo has the bottom part cut off so I fabricated a fake bottom for it. This is my favorite work out of anything I have ever done and it took me the longest to do at a span over a month on and off.

I'm not finished decorating for Halloween

And anyone who knows me would be thinking that something is definately wrong as I always prided myself as the Queen of Halloween. LOL I think one of the reasons is that I live in the God forsaken California high desert where it is summer 365 days a year. Last year was my first year back in the states after living in France for many years. So I went all out wild with Halloween decorating. We got no trick or treaters at all. That was a huge bummer. This year I am trying hard to get in the mood. I did take pics last Halloween and posted them on my da account. Here is one.

A few new designs

I admit I am really terrible at blogging. My mind goes blank and I can't think of what to write that would even sound remotely interesting. When it comes to making stuff put put on zazzle though, it is a different story. My mind is so full of ideas, I think I need a chill pill cause my mind is working so fast. Here are a few things my ADD Dyslexic mind came up with yesterday.

The first is an idea I thought up as a take on the same old candy cane heart. Giving it a sinister twist.

A darker one

Last effort for Halloween stuff

Is it too late? Going through a famous store in the area, what little they did have this year, alot of it was on sale and there was empty sections. What was left was nothing I'd be interested in. They are already trying to squeeze it all together for Christmas stuff. Bleh.

Anyways, I don't know if it is too late or not but I have been trying to make a few last ditch effort Halloween items here

The first item is an inherited family photo of my dad as a kid in the early 30s and random family members and friends.

This item shows my house

And this one, one of my skulls that I made pretty.

Alot of personal things are coming up and stealing my time so I have not been on here in a while. I haven't had alot of time for Zazzle either like I would but hopefully soon things will settle down. A couple of things I have managed to put in my store are:
